I loved this book! It had so many different layers to it. I’m not usually one for history lessons in my books but I found myself addicted to the way KA Tucker described Ireland and some of its history.
Amber is traveling around the world. She’s in Ireland for about another week and somehow manages to find herself in the middle of a bombing. She’s saved by River- whom I ADORE! River runs off shortly after that. Amber manages to find him one night so she can thank him for saving her life. They find they can’t stay away from each other after that and manage to spend time together.
I loved River so much. He helps run his family’s pub. He’s a hot and sexy bartender who all his customers love. Amber is pretty much the opposite of River. She’s a girly girl who has always followed the rules her whole life, while River has definitely spent his life breaking some rules. It was fun seeing them get to know each other.
I think if you’re a fan of this series, you’ll definitely enjoy this book. It has a little bit of everything in it: romance, suspense, a little angst, and some great secondary characters.
